Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LeadsLatch missed-call response and lead-management service (the “Service”). The Service is used by participating home-service businesses (plumbers, HVAC, electrical, roofing, landscaping, and similar trades) to reply to their own customers’ calls and inquiries by SMS. By using the Service, or by calling or texting a business that uses the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
LeadsLatch helps home-service businesses respond to missed calls and customer inquiries by sending a one-to-one, conversational text message back to the caller, asking how they can help, and organizing the conversation for the business owner. The Service is used strictly for customer service. It is never used for marketing, promotions, or unsolicited outreach. The business that uses the Service is responsible for the wording of its own replies and for its communications with its own customers.
SMS / Text Messaging Program
The LeadsLatch text messages are conversational customer-service messages. They are sent in response to a missed call or customer inquiry, with the goal of helping the customer get the service they reached out about. There is no automated marketing list, no promotional content, and no recurring blast campaign.
SMS terms and consent
By providing your phone number and contacting LeadsLatch or a participating business, you agree to receive conversational customer service SMS messages related to your inquiry or requested services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Program description. When you call a business that uses LeadsLatch and the call is missed, or when you text the business’s number directly, you may receive an automated reply asking how the business can help. Continuing the conversation is voluntary, and the business owner or staff may respond personally to follow up on your request.
- Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your interaction with the business. There is no recurring schedule.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
- Opt out. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages from the business. You will receive a confirmation and no further texts will be sent.
- Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or email support@leadslatch.com and we will respond within one business day.
- Consent. Consent to receive these texts is not a condition of any purchase or service. If you do not want to receive a text reply, simply do not provide your number to the business or reply STOP after the first message.
- Carrier disclaimer. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Accounts and Acceptable Use
Account holders must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under their account. You agree not to use the Service to send unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or unsolicited bulk messages, and not to use the Service for marketing or promotional campaigns. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, carrier requirements, and messaging-industry guidelines, including the TCPA and CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices.
Business Customer Responsibilities
Businesses that use the Service are solely responsible for ensuring they have any legally required consent and disclosures for communicating with their callers and customers, for honoring opt-out requests promptly, and for the accuracy and lawfulness of the message wording they configure. Businesses agree to keep their reply templates aligned with the conversational customer-service nature of the program.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any message will be delivered.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeadsLatch will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or business, arising out of or related to the Service.
Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
