SMS Consent Disclosure

This page explains how customers consent to receive SMS (text) messages from a home-service business after they contact that business directly for service help. It applies to texts sent by the business for the purpose of handling that customer’s service request.
When You May Receive Texts
Customers may receive text messages after contacting a home-service business directly, for example by calling the business or submitting a request on the business’s website. Texts are used only to handle that customer’s service request.
Typical uses include:
- Following up after a missed call
- Confirming service request details
- Answering customer questions about the requested service
- Scheduling appointments or service windows
- Coordinating callbacks and on-site arrival times
How Customers Opt In
Customers can consent to receive these messages in any of the following ways:
- Verbal opt-in during a phone call with the business.
- Website or contact form opt-in by checking a consent box or submitting a form that includes consent language.
- Replying to continue an existing service conversation that the customer started with the business.

- Messages are related only to the customer’s requested service. They are not used for marketing or promotional outreach.
Data Sharing
- SMS consent is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are not shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
