Privacy Policy
Effective May 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LeadsLatch (“LeadsLatch,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our missed-call response and lead-management service (the “Service”), or when you call or text a home-service business that uses the Service. We keep this short on purpose: contractors and their customers should be able to read it quickly and trust what it says.
Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to run the Service:
- Account information. Name, email address, business name, and trade for the business owners and team members who create an account.
- Business configuration. Business hours, service area, forwarding numbers, message templates, and automation settings configured by the business owner.
- Phone numbers and message content. When a customer calls or texts a business that uses the Service, we process the customer’s mobile phone number, call status, timestamps, and the content of SMS messages exchanged. Phone numbers are collected for the sole purpose of replying to that customer’s inquiry on behalf of the business.
- Usage data. Log data, device and browser information, and how the dashboard is used, for security and to improve the Service.
How We Use Information
- To provide the Service. Primarily, this means sending a conversational text reply on behalf of the business you called, organizing your inquiry into a lead, and letting the business owner follow up with you.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- To communicate with account holders about their account and support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not use customer phone numbers or message content for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than helping the business respond to that customer.
SMS / Mobile Opt-In Data
The Service sends conversational customer-service text messages on behalf of the business you contacted. Standard message and data rates may apply, message frequency varies, you can reply STOP to opt out at any time, and you can reply HELP (or email support@leadslatch.com) for assistance.
Mobile opt-in disclosure
Mobile opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Your mobile information is shared in two narrow ways. First, it is surfaced to the participating home-service business you contacted, in their lead dashboard, so they can reply, schedule, and follow up about your service request. Second, it passes through the trusted subprocessors that help us deliver the Service itself (for example, our SMS carrier and our cloud database), which are contractually limited to that purpose. We never sell, rent, or trade customer information, and mobile opt-in data is never shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service (for example, our cloud hosting provider, our database provider, and our SMS delivery provider), and only to the extent they need it to do their job. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of LeadsLatch, our customers, or the public.
Data Retention and Security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service to the business that collected it, and afterward for a reasonable period to meet legal, accounting, and audit obligations. After that, information is deleted or de-identified. We protect information using industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your Choices
- Reply STOP to any text message to immediately opt out of further messages from that business.
- Email support@leadslatch.com to ask us to access, correct, or delete account information, subject to legal and operational limits.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and their adult customers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
